Kirby Auxiliary Gives $47,000 to Support Patient Care
Every Gift Shop purchase, fundraiser, membership, volunteer hour, and donation adds up to something meaningful: better support for healthcare close to home.
During its Annual Luncheon, Kirby Auxiliary proudly presented a $47,000 donation to Kirby Medical Center. Made possible by the dedication of Auxiliary volunteers and the generosity of our community, this gift will help purchase equipment that benefits patients and caregivers across several areas of care.
Supporting Equipment for Our Healthcare Teams
The Auxiliary’s contribution will provide significant support toward three equipment investments:
Verathon i10 Bladder Scanner for the Emergency Department — $11,109
Vital Carts for all three Kirby Medical Group clinics — $25,000
Tourniquet System for the Surgery Department — $16,274
Together, these projects total $52,383. The Auxiliary’s $47,000 gift will help fund these important purchases, supporting the teams who care for our community in the Emergency Department, physician clinics, and Surgery Department.
A Community Effort with a Lasting Impact
Behind this donation are countless acts of service and generosity. Volunteers give their time, members support the Auxiliary’s mission, and community members shop, donate, and participate in fundraisers. Each contribution helps turn a shared commitment to local healthcare into practical support for patients and staff.
This gift demonstrates what we can accomplish together. From a purchase in the Gift Shop to hours spent volunteering, every effort plays a part.
Thank you to every Kirby Auxiliary volunteer, member, donor, and supporter who helped make this contribution possible. Your dedication continues to make a meaningful difference for the people who receive—and provide—care at Kirby Medical Center.
